Rosa explores the psychic of a woman entrapped in an inner space. She faces a struggle as she goes through her daily rituals. She longs to escape her daily routine at home, but what holds her back? Through the juxtaposition of the internal and external spaces the film examines if her fears are physical or psychological.
Lazos, 2006 short film
Lazos depicts the generational conflict between Marta, a
Puerto Rican immigrant mother, and Ana, her eighteen year-old daughter, who is about to graduate high school. Marta has very clear opinions and expectations of what she wants for her only daughter, but things are never how we expect them to be.
